AC Milan - Napoli – Review for 12.04.2023

The UEFA Champions League returns to the fold with another round of matches this week as Napoli lock horns with Stefano Pioli's AC Milan side in an important encounter at the San Siro on Wednesday.. Let’s preview it in our football betting tips today

Napoli are currently at the top of the Serie A standings and have been in exceptional form this season. The Neapolitan outfit edged Lecce to a 2-1 victory over the weekend and will be confident ahead of this fixture. Napoli have been in exceptional form this season and will be intent on making their mark in Europe. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has come into his own for the Neapolitans and will look to wreak havoc in the final third.

AC Milan, on the other hand, are in fourth place in the league table at the moment and have not been at their best this season. The Rossoneri were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Empoli in their previous game and will need to take it up a notch this week. AC Milan have shown flashes of brilliance this season but will need to work on their consistency this season. Napoli are the better team at the moment and hold a slight upper hand going into this game.

The last time these two meet, it didn't end well for Napoli, as they lost to Milan at home with a convincing 4:0 result, but even so, the upcoming European fixture is a pretty nice chance for an act of revenge, and if anyone is up to the task, that would certainly be them. Tapping into their distinctive play should bring the visitors a first-leg victory, however, covering up your bet with a draw would be reasonable, as Milan is quite sturdy at the back lately in the campaign, and could potentially lead this game to a more tactical approach, at least in my opinion.

Man Utd – Atl.Madrid – Review for 15.03.2022

Manchester United hosts Atletico Madrid at the Old Trafford in a second leg from the Champions League 1/8-finals. The first leg in Spain ended 1-1, so everything is wide open here. Let’s preview it in our football betting tips today

It was not a bad first game at the Wanda Metropolitano, but nobody was able to win it. Joao Felix scored an early opener for Los Colchoneros, but Anthony Elanga equalised for United just 10 minutes before the final whistle. The Swedish striker executed an assist from Bruno Fernandes and put the ball behind Jan Oblak’s back.

The Red Devils made a huge statement in their last Premier League game on Saturday. Ralf Rangnick’s team hosted Tottenham Hotspur at home and celebrated a crucial 3-2 win. The hero of the game was Cristiano Ronaldo who ended his goal drought and scored a hattrick for the hosts. The Portuguese super star surely made the best game of his season. Now he’s eager to do the same against Atletico in the Champions League as well. Atletico also celebrated a win in La Liga before their trip to England. Diego Simeone’s team hosted Cadiz and took the three points after a 2-1 win. Joao Felix opened the score for Atleti while Rodrigo de Paul scored the winner in the second half of the game. Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann started against Cadiz while once again Luis Suarez started the game from the bench. Most likely Simeone will keep this attack for the visit to Old Trafford as well. Suarez is not in his best shape at the moment so we should expect to see him being included in the second half.

That’s the football betting tips today for the Champions League 1/8-finals second leg between Manchester United and Atletico Madrid. Let’s see if the Red Devils can use their home advantage here.
